How to Change Device Name

1. Open the Alexa app.
2. Tap the “Devices” tab at the bottom of the screen.
3. Select “Echo & Alexa”.
4. Tap the Echo device you want to rename.
5. Once the device settings screen opens, tap the gear icon (settings) in the upper right corner.
6. Tap “Device Name”.
7. Enter the new device name.
8. Tap “Save” or “Done” to confirm the changes.

With the above steps, you can easily change the name of your reset Echo device.
Changing the device name makes it easier to identify when using multiple Echo devices.
It also helps when specifying the device with voice commands.
